Luna Mission
DESIGN PLANT GROW
Luna Botanicals utilizes the principles of biophilic design to connect people and nature in meaningful ways. Biophilia is human’s innate love of the natural world. Our need for connection with nature is deeply rooted within our DNA, and intrinsically shared by all humankind.
We combine the science of horticulture and the art of design to produce distinctly biophilic spaces. We choose plants that will thrive long-term, and serve as a daily connection to nature for those who inhabit our spaces.
With artwork and plants spanning from New York to California, through Texas and New Orleans, the Lunas utilize their unique skillset to create instant-impact, bold designs that garner attention and connect people with nature.

Luna Botanicals came to fruition through a shared respect for the healing and meditative power of nature, and a passion for incorporating that serenity into everyday life.
The Lunas
Founders of Luna Botanicals
Stephen and Jeanne Luna are a married couple creating, designing and enjoying life in New Orleans.
The couples' genuine and deep love for New Orleans drives much of the inspiration of the Luna Botanicals art and plant collection, as well as the wild and dramatic Luna Landmarks populating New Orleans and beyond.
With a shared business and personal mantra rooted in nature, their wedding in the Redwood Forest was featured in Southern Bride Magazine. Both named to Gambit New Orleans’ 40 under 40 list in 2018, the duo behind Luna Botanicals is inspired to grow a greener future.
We believe bringing nature into people’s lives is a way to foster peace and happiness on an individual and community level.”
Growing up near bayous, swamps and ponds,
The Lunas share a deep love for Louisiana ecosystems and immersion in nature. Having grown up fishing, kayaking, running through fields and exploring the nature around, years of travel and studying growth patterns in natural landscapes have become part of the creative process for the duo.
Stephen Luna is a licensed Landscape Architect, certified horticulturist and Master Gardener. He is a proud alumni of LSU, the #1 Landscape Architecture program in the US for over a decade. Stephen’s professional experience in Landscape Architecture, designing parks, commercial construction estimation and graphic design. A true green thumb, Stephen has worked for various LA firms and famous gardens. He has designed parks and graphic design logos pro bono for nature driven initiativies like Plant the Parish. Stephen’s personal and professional vision for the future lies in living architecture.
Jeanne Luna is a Master Gardener and has a Marketing degree from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, a unique university that hosts an incredible, thriving swamp in the center of campus. After observing the natural patterns of the swamp daily for years in between business classes, and studying ecotourism in Costa Rica, Jeanne began to visualize how the strategy of marketing and serenity of nature could combine. After enjoying a career as Marketing Director overseeing various brand development projects, Jeanne revisited her dream of combining nature and marketing by cofounding Luna Botanicals with Stephen. Jeanne serves as creative director of Luna Botanicals and envisions a future in Biophilic design driven through plant focused brands, ecotourism and a collective enthusiasm for nature.
Luna Botanicals creates stellar spaces that embody the beauty and serenity of being surrounded by nature.
